The Bubble

About the Bubble

The Bubble is an public database that has been underway for quite some time, and we are very pleased to be able to share it. The goals of the database are:

  1. Create a database that is both FREE and OPEN to public viewing and public submissions (We need your input!)
  2. Create a repository made up of a variety of different types of information including: HOWTO's, Blogs, Computer Problem Resolution, Message Boards, Recommendations, and anything else!
  3. Maintain a reputable level of 'data integrity'. We want our information to be useful and complete. We also want to keep the Bubble clean from malicious code, hacking and exploits, and spyware and viruses.
  4. To seamlessly integrate Bubble records into the search results of the big three: Google, Yahoo, and MSN. We expect the Bubble to be a modular addition to the internet, nothing more.

These goals are subject to change, but the underlying purpose of the Bubble will remain the same: help facilitate the dissemination of information about the internet. Our intention in creating the Bubble is publish and spread uncommon and esoteric information that otherwise may be lost in the cloud.

This is an on-going project and we are very open to suggestions; the 'Contact Us' page provides ways of doing do. Also, check the 'News' section for updates and new content.

Resume (Updated in the Spring 2011)
I built this website to explore my interest in computers and the internet. The Bubble started as a collection of notes that I kept when resolving issues I ran into while learning Linux. I decided to publish this information on the internet thinking that others could benefit from it as well.
